Reviewing 11 Ways

Posted under Make Bread Online by tata on Saturday 11 October 2008 at 10:28 am

On September 12th, I posted 11 Ways to Make Dough Online. Here is my review of those methods.

Method Work Involved Pay-Out Referrals Summary
Google Adsense

Sign up, insert a bit of code

$0.02 N/A

Easy to do, not a lot of earnings

Ask2Link

Sign up, insert a bit of code

$0.00 Yes - 0

Easy to do, not a lot of earnings

ViralBlogAds

Sign up, insert a bit of code

$0.00 Yes - 0

Easy to do, not a lot of earnings. Moreover, I have only ever seen blogs advertised.

Freebies4Webmasters

Sign up, insert a bit of code onto 3 different pages

£10 (approx. $17USD) 3 days after placing the codes! Yes - 0

Easy to do and quick payment. Very fast and easy income! The referral program is pretty great, too!

Matched.co.uk Sign up $0.00 Yes - 0

I signed up and have been more or less ignored. No real potential here for me.

Hits4Pay

Sign up, receive and read email and online ads

$11.54 Yes- 0

Simple to do and not terribly time-consuming, but will take a while to earn anything substantial.

Isabelmarco

Sign up, surf ads online

$0.58 Yes - 0

The only way to earn any amount of money here is through referrals, which may require an investment. Furthermore, they recently announced they will no longer be paying non-plus members, so it will require an investment before creating any income.

Opinion Outpost

Sign up, fill out length profiles, be matched with surveys to earn points redeemable for dough.

25 points Yes - 0

This requires a lot of time for not a lot of earnings. I’ve taken surveys and then deemed unqualified for them, meaning I earned no points. Also, I qualified for and took a survey for which I received no credits and had to contact the company to have this rectified. Not worth it.

MySurvey

Sign up, fill out lengthy portraits, be matched with surveys to earn points redeemable for bread.

165 points Yes - 0

See Summary for Opinion Outpost.

Survey Savvy

Sign up, fill out lengthy portraits, be matched with surveys to earn points redeemable for bread.

0 points Yes - 0

In their defense, I have not filled out any of the portraits to be matched with surveys.

InboxDollars

Sign up, take surveys, read email adverts, play online games (requires paid upgrade) and earn

$11.73 Yes - 0

This site is fun. While earning is going slow, I’m enjoying myself so it doesn’t seem like work. I’m considering upgrading membership to play for points/dollars.

In conclusion, it is obvious to me that one cannot make any amount of quick dough from the above sites. Perhaps one might be able to make substantial bread from some of them with, say, a site that generates a lot of traffic (via AdSense) or with an investment (via a site like IsabelMarco).

In my next post, I will discuss ways to make cash online via sites like Pay Per Post, wherein a blogger writes reviews and places links on their blog, usually for a flat rate. Stay tuned!

Thanks for this post!!! I love to see honest, no bs, reviews of money making programs. Keep plugging away with google adsense, though. Keyword optimize your posts and promote yourself to get traffic. I make about 150$ month with adsense now.

Wow, lots of good stuff here. Though, I’d have to say it doesn’t really look like the earning potential for most of these is really worth the time or money. I think Adsense is actually better than most of them but only for certain niches that have higher CPC rates. For someones general personal blog, it’s probably not going to earn a whole lot. Just my opinion though.

Thanks for the chart. I began my online moneymaking journey in July with GPT sites. I have quickly moved onto associate work on my website and have made way more money with that. I like the title of your blog, though, I have to admit, when I clicked on through Entrecard, I was excited because I thought it was a blog about baking bread. I love baking bread and I love making money even more! :)
